2. Nephi 26: 24 - 28

Er tut nichts, was nicht der Welt zum Nutzen ist; denn er liebt die Welt, so daß er sogar sein eigenes Leben niederlegt, damit er alle Menschen zu sich ziehen kann. Darum gebietet er niemandem, nicht an der Errettung durch ihn teilzuhaben.

Siehe, ruft er irgend jemandem zu, nämlich: Geh weg von mir? Siehe, ich sage euch: Nein; sondern er spricht: Kommt her zu mir, all ihr Enden der Erde, kauft Milch und Honig, ohne Geld und ohne Kaufpreis.

Siehe, hat er irgend jemandem geboten, aus den Synagogen oder aus den Häusern der Anbetung wegzugehen? Siehe, ich sage euch: Nein.

Hat er irgend jemandem geboten, nicht an der Errettung durch ihn teilzuhaben? Siehe, ich sage euch: Nein, sondern er gewährt sie allen Menschen frei, und er hat seinem Volk geboten, daß sie alle Menschen zur Umkehr bewegen.

Siehe, hat der Herr irgend jemandem geboten, nicht an seiner Güte teilzuhaben? Siehe, ich sage euch: Nein, sondern alle Menschen genießen diesen Vorzug, der eine so wie der andere, und keinem ist es verwehrt.

2 Nephi 26:24 - 28

He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw call men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall not partake of his salvation.


Behold, doth he cry unto any, saying: Depart from me? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; but he saith: Come unto me all ye ends of the earth, buy milk and honey, without money and without price.

Behold, hath he commanded any that they should depart out of the synagogues, or out of the houses of worship? Behold, I say unto you, Nay.

Hath he commanded any that they should not partake of his salvation? Behold I say unto you, Nay; but he hath given it free for all men; and he hath commanded his people that they should persuade all men to repentance.

Behold, hath the Lord commanded any that they should not partake of his goodness? Behold I say unto you, Nay; but all men are privileged the one like unto the other, and none are forbidden.

2. Nephi 26: 12 - 13

Und so wie ich gesagt habe, die Juden müßten überzeugt werden, daß Jesus wirklich der Christus ist, so muß es notwenderweise sein, daß auch die Andern davon überzeugt werden, daß Jesus der Christus ist, der ewige Gott,

und daß er sich all denen, die an ihn glauben, durch die Macht des Heiligen Geistes kundtut, ja, jeder Nation, jedem Geschlecht, jeder Sprache und jedem Volk, und mächtige Wundertaten, Zeichen und Wunder unter den Menschenkindern vollbringt, gemäß ihrem Glauben.

2 Nephi 26:12 - 13

And as I spake concerning the convincing of the Jews, that Jesus is the very Christ, it must need be that the Gentiles be convinced also that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God;

And that he manifesteth himself unto all those who believe in him, by the power of the Holy Ghost; yea, unto every nation, kindred, tongue and people, working mighty miracles, signs, and wonders, among the children of men according to their faith.

2. Nephi 25:29

Und nun siehe, ich sage euch, daß es der rechte Weg ist, an Christus zu glauben und ihn nicht zu leugnen; und Christus ist der Heilige Israel; darum müßt ihr euch vor ihm niederbeugen und ihn anbeten mit all eurer Macht, ganzem Sinn und aller Kraft und mit ganzer Seele; und wenn ihr das tut, werdet ihr kieineswegs ausgestoßen werden.

2 Nephi 25:29

And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out.

2. Nephi 25:26

Und wir reden von Christus, wir freuen uns über Christus, wir predigen von Christus, wir prophezeien von Christus, und wir schreiben gemäß unseren Prophezeiungen, damit unsere Kinder wissen mögen, von welcher Quelle sie Vergebung ihrer Sünden erhoffen können.

2 Nephi 25:26

And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

2. Nephi 25:23

Denn wir arbeiten eifrig daran zu schreiben, um unsere Kinder und auch unsere Brüder zu bewegen, daß sie an Christus glauben und sich mit Gott versöhnen lassen; denn wir wissen, daß wir durch Gnade errettet werden, nach allem, was wir tun können.

2 Nephi 25:23

For we labor dilligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.

2. Nephi 25:20

Und nun, meine Brüder, habe ich klar gesprochen, damit ihr euch nicht irren könnt. Und so wahre der Herr, Gott, lebt, der Israel aus dem Lande ägypten heraufgeführt und Mose die Macht verliehen hat, die Volksscharen zu heilen, nachdem sie von den giftigen Schlangen gebissen worden waren, wenn sie zu der Schlange aufblickten, die er vor ihnen aufgerichted hatte, und ihm auch Macht gegeben hat, an den Felsen zu schlagen, so daß Wasser hervorkäme; ja, siehe, ich sage euch, so wie diese Dinge wahr sind und so wahr der Herr, Gott, lebt, so ist kein anderer Name unter dem Himmel gegeben als nur dieser Jesus Christus, von dem ich gesprochen habe, wodurch der Mensch errettet werden kann.

2 Nephi 25:20

And now, my brethren, I have spoken plainly that ye cannot err. And as the Lord God liveth that brought Israel up out of the Land of Egypt, and gave unto Moses power that he should heal the nations after they had been bitten by the poisonous serpents, if they would cast their eyes unto the serpent which he did raise up before them, and also gave him power that he should smite the rock and the water should come forth; yea, behold I say unto you, that as these things are true, and as the Lord God liveth, there is none other name given under heaven save it be Jesus Christ, or which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved.

2. Nephi 25:16 - 19

Und nachdem sie zerstreut worden sind und der Herr, Gott, sie durch andere Nationen für den Zeitraum vieler Generationen gezüchtigt hat, ja, selbst hinab von Generation zu Generation, bis sie dazu bewegt werden, an Christus, den Sohn Gottes, zu glauben und das Sühnopfer, das unbegrenzt für die ganze Menschheit ist - und wenn der Tag kommt, da sie an Christus glauben und den Vater in seinem Namen mit lauterem Herzen und reinen Händen anbeten und nicht mehr nach einem anderen Messias ausschauen, dann, zu jener Zeit, wird der Tag kommen, da es notwendigerwise ratsam ist, daß sie dies alles glauben sollen.

Und der Herr wird wieder, zum zweitenmal, seine Hand heben, um sein Volk aus dessen verolorenem und gefallenem Zustand wiederherzustellen. Darum wird er darangehen, unter den Menschenkindern ein wunderbares Werk, ja, ein Wunder, zu vollbringen.

Darum wird er seine Worte an sie hervorbringen lassen, und diese Worte werden am letzten Tag über richten; denn sie werden ihnen zu dem Zweck gegeben, sie vom wahren Messias zu überzeugen, daß sie nicht mehr danach ausschauen müssen, daß ein Messias kommt; denn es wird keiner kommen, außer es sei ein falscher Messias, der das Volk täuschen möchte; denn es gibt nur einen Messias, von dem die Propheten gesprochen haben, und das ist jener Messias, der von den Juden verworfen werden wird.

Denn gemäß den Worten der Propheten kommt der Messias sechshundert Jahre nach der Zeit, da mein Vater Jerusalem verlassen hat; und gemäß den Worten der Propheten und auch dem Wort des Engels Gottes wird sein Name Jesus Christus sein, der Sohn Gottes.

2 Nephi 25:16 - 19

And after they have been scattered, and the Lord God hath scourged them by other nations for the space of many generation, yea, even down from generation to generation until they shall be persuaded to believe in Christ, the Son of God, and the atonement, which is infinite for all mankine - and when that day shall come that they shall believe in Christ, and worship the Father in his name, with pure hearts ancd clean hands, and look not forward any more for another Messiah, then, at that time, the day will come that it must needs be expedient that they should believe these things.

And the Lord will set his hand again the second time to restore his people from their lost and fallen state. Wherefore, he will proceed to do a marvelous work and a wonder among the children of men.

Wherefore, he shall bringn forth his words unto them, which words shall judge them at the last day, for they shall be given them for the purpose of convincing of them that they need not look forward any more for a Mesiah to come, for there should not any come, save it should be a falseMessiah which should decieve the people; for there is save one Messiah spoken of by the prophets, adn that Messiah is he who should be rejected of the Jews.

For according to the words of the prophets, the Messiah cometh in six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem; and according to the words of the prophets, and also the word of the angel of God, his name shall be Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

2. Nephi 25:13

Siehe, sie werden ihn kreuzigen; und nachdem er für den Zeitraum von drei Tagen in einem Grab gelegen hat, wird er von drei Tagen in einem Grab gelegen hat, wird er von den Toten auferstehen, mit Heilung in seinen Flügeln; und alle, die an seinen Namen glauben, werden im Reich Gottes errettet sein. Darum erfreut sich meine Seele daran, in bezug auf ihn zu prophezeien, denn ich habe seinen Tag gesehen, und mein Herz macht seinen heiligen Namen groß.

2 Nephi 25:13

Behold, they will crucify him; and after he is laid in a sepulchure for the space of three days he shall rise from the dead, with healing in his wings; and all those who shall believe on his name shall be saved in the kingdom of God. Wherefore, my soul delighteth to prophesy concerning him, for I have seen his day, and my heart doth magnify his holy name.

2. Nephi 11:7

Denn wenn es keinen Christus gäbe, dann gäbe es keinen Gott; und wenn es keinen Gott gäbe, dann gäbe es uns nicht., denn es hätte keine Schöpfung geben können. Aber es gibt einen Gott, und er ist Christus, und er kommt, wenn sich seine Zeit erfüllt.

2 Nephi 11:7

For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time.

2. Nephi 11:4

Siehe, meine Seele erfreut sich daran, meinem Volk die Wahrheit des Kommens Christi zu beweisen; denn zu diesem Zweck ist das Gesetz des Mose gegeben worden; und alles, was dem Menschen von Anfang der Welt an von Gott gegeben worden ist, weist sinnbildlich auf ihn hin.

2 Nephi 11:4

Behold, my soul delighteth in proving unto my people the truth of the coming of Christ; for, for this end hath the law of Moses been given; and all things which have been given of God from the beginning of the world, unto man, are the typifying of him.
